OK – You have your Dream. And than you set yourself a Goal based upon your Dream. So, what is next.
Be patient. We are still not at the point where you need to learn about setting up an auto responder, developing a product, etc.
The next step, #3 in the the 5 Things You Must Do To Build A Successful Online Business is…
Find Yourself A Mentor!!!
You need to find someone who: has the knowledge and experience that you need to acquire; who is already successful at doing what you want to do; and who is willing, and able, to teach you how to do it.
Than – and only than – will YOU be able to be successful. And you will only be successful if:
You are willing to sit down at the feet of the Master, and learn, and follow the lessons that are being taught.
When I found my Mentor, I thought that I knew a few things. And so I would go off on my own tangent. Boy, was I out in left field.
And I was unable to figure out why my program was not working.
See what I forgot was this. My Mentor had already worked out the bugs. He had tested and found what worked, and more importantly, what didn’t work. All I to do was put into practice what he had found that worked.
Of course, once I learned to follow what he was teaching, than my business begin to grow.
I knew about my Mentor for a little over a year. Than one day I got an email from him with an offer of a program that I could look at for 23 days and would only cost me a dollar – and it included a 1/2 hour telephone consultation about my business with him.
Needless to say, I jumped on that. I still had to struggle with following what he was teaching. Once I got over that hurdle, however, growth in my business begin to take place.
Than all I had to do (and continue to do) is follow his lead as he builds his business. See, he is out there testing this, that, and the other thing. If I just follow what he is sharing with me, and others, I know it already works. I don’t have to reinvent the wheel.
Having been mentored, I now have a responsibility. And that is to pass along to others what I have learned. Zig Zigler is supposed to have said: “You can have whatever it is that you want as you help others achieve whatever it is that they want.”
