The #5 Thing You Must Do.
OK – It’s time to recap. You found out what your Dream is. And you set a Goal so that you can realize your Dream. Than you got yourself a Mentor. And you began to Focus on what your Mentor is giving you so that you can bring your Goal to reality. What’s left? Well, the #5 Thing You Must Do To Build A Successful Online Business is…(playing the theme from the movie, Rocky.)
Now you must Take Action!
The first 4 Things You Must Do will have no meaning unless you Take Action and bring them to a conclusion. You know the old saying, “Plan your work, and work your plan.” Now it’s all about taking all of thoughts you have had, the dreams you have had, and bringing them into the real world.
Vince Lombardi was the coach of the Green Bay Packers Professional Football Team when they won the first two Super Bowls. Coach Lombardi said this:
“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.”
So ask yourself this question. “What is holding me back from realizing my Dream.” Take a moment and find some quiet time. Take a pen and a pad of paper. Just sit and let your mind wonder. Write down what you get. It may surprise you.
What is the number 1 fear you have about having a successful online business? Maybe it is that you won’t have enough time for your family activities. Maybe it is that your friends will not understand what it is that you are doing. Don’t worry, you will make new friends.
We all have our fears that keep us from having what it is in life that we want. As Coach Lombardi said, it is our lack of will that keeps us from being successful.

Bill,
I really enjoyed reading your “Things you must do” series and wondered if I could pick your brains a little. I am new to the world of IM and have developed a physical and web-based product that ALL Internet Marketers need and would benefit from. This product is totally unique and applies to Marketers and Bloggers world wide.
My question is – where would I find an initial 500-1000 members to roll-out this phenominal product as Affiliates and Testimonials?

Hi Bill,
I agree with your 5 things to do but I think something is missing.
There is some gap between goal and other things (mentor, focus, action).
At first somebody needs some knowledge to define the tasks that he should perform in order to reach his goal.
Then he needs some knowledge of how to fulfill the task.
He also needs some education in the areas of different tasks.
The most important thing is to have knowledge of every step in the process of performing each task (with all marketing tricks and secrets).
Mentor is not enough in this case because mentor won’t spend time with you on basic and wide knowledge. He can show you directions and correct your steps but won’t spend time with you on general education.
The main thing here is to know the best practices in each step of the process – that’s what marketers usually don’t give you because this is their “know-how” to earn their money.
I am struggling with the process of assembling all my pieces of marketing knowledge together.
I signed with some e-coaching partner of Rich Jerk and they gave me just one site-builder with tutorials and hot-line for $4000 (similar things I can find from $200 to $400) and don’t want to return me money back.
Now I am approaching my bankruptcy with $105K debt on my credit cards with no perspective to avoid it.
I know – there will be no miracle here. And I am ready to work hard in order to pay off my debt.
I need just SIMPLE REAL step-by-step PROFITABLE process of earning money (starting from $100 a day) to get started with my internet business.
I have some ideas for Internet business but it’s all about time and money that I don’t have.
Anyway your 5 things to do are very important and vital for any Internet business.

I agree with Alex.
It is highly important to show the road map to gather atleast $100 a day then and only then one will have belief in the process and deviote time and energy to progress further.It is correct that all opportunities onle require $$ in advance, even if the result doesn’t earn one a single $.
Hope a direct shoot to the target of $100.

Enjoyed the read from a very down to earth person. BTW I live in Florida now but am from Wisconsin-loved your quote from Vince Lombardi. I’m still a huge Green Bay Packer fan. Gonna miss Favre though.
Anyway, I agree with those above about education in each of the steps needed in each tool required. An especially confusing to me is the autoresponder thing and how to work it with the squeeze page and putting in code to first off then again to the back end offer.
